Replace battery now have a white screen

I'll give a little history. I replace the battery before the iPod would not turn on with out being plugged in. I got a replacement battery and now the iPod has a white screen.

I also cracked the screen. I don't know if the cracked screen is the source of the white screen. It also charges up.

The iPod boots up with white screen. It connects to iTunes. I reset the iPod in iTunes it reset loaded the music into it.

Should i replace the screen on iPod, is it worth it? Any way of testing to see if it's something else.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

Did you crack the screen when replacing the battery? If so it sounds like it's the source of the white screen.

I'd recommend disassembly to unplug the screen and then plug it back in. If it's still white It would need replaced.

Try that and report back :-)
