iPhone display is dark, do you know how replace the backlight

I have an iphone 3G and the screen is very dark I have read on some of the forums that it could be the backlight but I am not sure how to replace it

Answer this question I have this problem too

I think backlight is included in LCD assy.

If you want to replace it, look at the guides about LCD or screen and do the work carefully.

But I'm not sure that replacing LCD will fix your iPhone completely.

If replacing won't work, feel free to asking me again.
