I put Vodka on it

Hello,

I have an Ipod Classic on which on year ago a friend put Vodka on it. Of course it can't go one anymore. I live in Buenos Aires and so I left it to a technician, but it as been one year since he says to me that he is waiting for " Une placa" in spanish, and that without it they can't do anything.

But, I don't understand why they can't find it, and I don't know with is the equivalent in english, if it's true that is difficult to find it, if I can change all the device and it will work ?

Please help me, I can't leave without it, and I can't by me another....

Answer this question I have this problem too

Just ask for it back and take it to some more reputable. That does not translate either in English or Spanish or Portuguese or anything else.

I looked for it and I think, it's the logic board

The thing is that is it still possible to fix it one year after ? I mean if I change all the damaged parts

lombardolise, sure sounds like they are referring to the logic board. Yes it is still fixable. You will however have to most likely replace the logic board and possibly the hard drive. This will depend on the original damage
