Home button pressed causes white screen flash and instant off.

When my phone is on, any time I press the home button, the screen flashes white for under 1 second, and then instantly shuts off. Even during start up at the apple logo.

Update (03/19/2016)

The tech at Mac Pros said it was probably due to water damage on the motherboard.
