Before you go tearing it apart check to see if your getting it plugged in all the way if you have a case sometimes the case will keep it from plugging in all the way

This was crazy helpful. I thought I was going to have to buy new earbuds!

by

Worked for me. Alternating between blowing/sucking for 30-ish seconds and they work like new again.

Blow and suck and main speaker for 10-20 sec each while alternating. It works for apple earbuds to for future reference

by

i could not for the life of me get this stuff stuck in my earbud out by doing that

by

nevermind i kept trying and it finally worked

The earbuds are made of molded plastic pieces glued together, and attempting to disassemble it would most certainly render the headphones beyond repair.

The jack on your phone doesn't seem to be an issue, since part of the earbud is functional.

Unfortunately, you will have to buy new earbuds.

I have two of these earphones and both have weaker or no sound in the right bud. It appears that everyone else has a problem with the right bud as well, and I find it odd that the same bud gets broken with everyone. Im convinced that the earphones themselves are quite bad on the right bud and somehow easier exposed to damage.

I still have my earphones from the galaxy s4, and they work just fine despite being old by now. You'd think new models would be less fragile, but I sit here with two pairs of new, broken earphones, and one pair of working old ones...

Its really easy to fix it i had the same problem one side didn't work so just clean it from inside alright by the time you use the earbud it gets dirty :D so just search how to open it safely and clean it maybe with a tissue paper

This problem is usually caused by wax blocking the holes in your earbuds. You can use a sewing needle to poke through the holes in the speaker when the headphones aren't in use and you're good to go. The sound will be just like new again!
