Problem With Microphone, no one can hear me

'''I have a problem With my iphone! I think the microphone its broken cause nobody can hear me. I tried with another iPhone to change the dock piece connector but it didn't work.

I would like a photo of the microphone piece to have a look and see whats happening!

I allready know that the microphone is in the dock conector but U dont know in which part it is.

Please somebody can give some pictures of it.

And any solutions?

Thanks..

does ringer and speaker work? if they don't then may still be dock connector problem. try repositioning connector 4, hard reset/restore.

I have the same problem. I tried replacing the mic. Didnt work. I tried a hands free headset and it still doesnt work. It has to be a software problem or something other then the mic. Try a hands free headset and see if it works. If it does then it is probably your mic, if not then it is something else. Good luck.

There's also a bug with the iPod app that fixed it for me:
