Where do the grey rubber pads go?

When I took apart my iPOD to replace the battery, 2 small grey bracket like looking pads fell out and I didn't see where they came from. Where do they go. I think they are supposed to provide spacing for the logicboard from ipod walls, but I'm not certain.

Options

They go around some components near the dock connector. Check step 6 of the guide (they're blue in the pic).
