How to fix lever of keyboard backlight's ZIF connector?

Hey guys.

I accidentally damaged the lever of the ZIF connector responsible for holding the keyboard backlight's ribbon cable.

I was taking the logic board off the topcase and forgot to disconnect that cable. Yes, dumb as !&&*.

So the cable is functional and so are the pins of the socket. When I pulled the logic board, the ribbon cable snapped off the socket when the lever was still locked down.

Now when I try to close the lever again it won't do anything to hold the cable in place. Is there any way to fix or replace that little lever?

I can't seem to identify exactly where the damage was so the lever lost it's holding force.
