Xiaomi Canon Bluetooth speaker got wet under the rain

I recently left my speaker close to the window when it rained. After I realised that it got wet, I used a hairdryer to dry the device (with low heat) and left it unused for more than 24 hours.

When I tried using it, the sound quality has changed a lot. It sounds as though the speakers have been covered. Is there anything that I can do to fix the speaker? Could I continue to use the speaker? Will my warranty be able to cover for this damage?

Thanks!

24 Hours isn't enough for a device to dry out properly, it takes up to a week in a warm dry location. It must be dried fully. Problem is if it's wet and turned on the cone of the speaker can tear. If it tears the sound will be pretty terrible.

Let it dry out FULLY, then give it a check. If it's still like that you can open and investigate. Warranty wouldn't cover damage as it's user damage.
