Battery Problems. My mac ocassionally turns suddenly down.

I recently change the battery on my macbook pro.

I put a "new old stock" mac battery (date of fabrication 2013 according coconut).

I had some troubles after the first installation so the laptop could recognize it. I plugged the internal connector on and off several times. Finally it started to work properly, but some days before the computer suddenly turn down and all the battery test lights started to blink. I plugged the laptop and turned on right, but without battery (no charging, no coconut detection, and an x inside the battery sign), and the magsafe test light turn green.

Some minutes after plugging it, the magsafe light suddenly turned orange and the laptop recognised the battery, i run coconut and everything seemed normal. Now from time to time keeps making the same thing.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

Try to disconnect battery and do a SMC/PVRAM reset. Turn off ur Mac, unplugg from charger sources then hold down power button for 30 seconds not 15 secs. This would reset the SMC then put back ur charger and battery while charger is plugged in. This would solve the issue of not u'll need to replace battery with "oem original " and Apple has not got that in stock anymore
