Why is the device not charging my phone?
My phone shows it is connected to the sound dock, but it is not charging.

A possible source of error may be your lightning connector. I would check to be sure there is no damage between the lightning connector and motherboard. Be sure to check all connections and that there is no wire damage. It may be necessary to buy and replace the lightning connector for your Bose SoundDockXT.
