My screen is black after screen replacement

Hi all,

I smashed my iPhone 5 screen earlier this month and bought a new lcd digitiser online. I managed to replace this screen, connected the three ribbon cables and the screen worked well. just as I was putting the screen back into place, the entire screen went black? I have no idea what happened but the phone does still work as I can hear it receiving messages and charging.

Any help?

Thank you

Jen

Try resetting your connections first. If that doesn't work, remove the display assembly connections and unplug he batter socket, reconnect the battery socket connector, then reconnect the display assembly socket connectors. If that still doesn't work, try a force restart
