Can you add a microSD card to a Huawei Ascend G620?

I want to expand the memory storage of my phone, an Huawei Ascend G620 (not a Huawei Ascend G620s). The phone has a microSD slot (as well as instructions in the manual on how to insert a microSD card).

However - online information about the phone's capabilities (which isn't much) suggests that there is no memory upgrade potential, see this listing for example - http://www.phonearena.com/phones/Huawei-....

But again - why the slot and instructions in adding a memory card if no upgrade is possible??

If anyone can help, I'd be much obliged.

Usually a micro Sd Card is used to increase the data storage of your phone.

Hi,

Just read the user guide, you can add a sd card but it will be for extra storage not RAM (memory). I think that in the guide they are mixing the terms "memory" and "storage" to mean the same thing, e.g. on p73 of the guide the heading is " Checking the Memory Status" but go on to use the term storage on the phone's internal storage and sd card.
