both screens are white , please help

I got one for Christmas a few years ago . I turned it on one morning to play and the screens turned white and so I never told my parents , and just put it away . I recently today remembered I had it and turned it on and the screens are still white. The nintendo was brand new . What is the problem ? What can I do ? Or where can I take it ? Please help . thank you .
