Phone is totally destroyed, can I extract data

My phone has been intentionally destroyed and taken apart violently. Please advise if it is possible to retrieve any data if I replaced the battery and used some software. Or is it too damaged to be retrievable?

I tried connecting it to my PC, it does not charge and the PC doesn't recognize the phone, neither does iTunes. Does that mean the battery is dead?

Battery looks indented but not punctured with any holes...so after love replacement you might need a new battery as well?try new lcd and checking when turning on phone if it gets hot if not then your good,no battery needed.
