My screen is blank but the Nook is active?

I just got this Nook HD+ used a while ago. Today the screen went out, but I can still turn the tablet on. Actually, the weird part is the initial loading screen that just says "Nook" in black and white will show up every time, but then it goes blank. I accidentally turned on audio Accessibility, and I can touch things and get a response from the tablet, but the screen stays completely black.

I'm pretty sure the Nook is still on the factory OS. Any ideas?

Your LCD screen may have gone bad its pretty easy to do yourself but if your a beginner i would recommend taking your nook to a device repair place and get it fixed
