Possible Thunderbolt 3 Adaptation?

This is all theoretical at this point, but with what knowledge is known about the upcoming Thunderbolt 3... Does anyone believe it would be possible to upgrade the Thunderbolt 2 ports on an early 2015 Macbook Pro Retina 13inch, when they do come out? Would the logic board need to be upgraded to a Skylake to do so? Thank you all so much for your time!

While you won't get the throughput of TB3 you will be able to use a converter cable to connect TB3 devices to your TB or TB2 port on your system.

Not possible since basically you need to redesign and manufacture the logic board yourself.
