My phone recently started having this issue where I have to move my charger a certain way to charge it. Even then, it stops charging and I have to move it again after about 10 minutes. The port doesn't have pieces sticking out and it doesn't seem loose. I don't know what else it could be.

If you have to wiggle it to make contact, then you likely have cracked solder joints on the inside of the charging port. Take the phone apart and resolder or replace the charging port. If you don't know how to do this, try to find a local shop to do it for you. When you call around, tell them that you have "cold solder joints" on your charging port. If they don't know what you're talking about, hang up and call the next shop. If you can't find anyone, message me and we do accept mail-in repairs.

My phone is not charging at all, how much does it charger to have you guys fix the charging slot and does it really help?
After 6 months had charger issues got hot both charger & phone guy @ metro store advised buying new charger which i did then no heat 3 months later had to start moving around, standing on end of charger to phone connection port constantly moving to keep connected, then holding in hand while connected to charge, without much success and then just shut down never to be able to bring a light for connection again. I not only lost a phone i loved but all & and very vital information that cannot be transferred to the new phone I've been forced to purchased. My son surprised me Jan. 2015 that phone a gift & now feels horrible knowing all I have lost because of its instability. However he paid $100.00 more than this almost $200. Phone he felt obligated to replace it with. Just

My son's zte max pro blade had a loose charging port and wouldn't charge really so I just squeezed his charger port some and it got it to charge

This phone has a lot of issues with its charger port. I messaged Cell Phone Repair Pros and they said if you take it to them they'll fix/replace the charger port for $50. If you're willing to spend that much on a repair. I just ended up getting another phone.

That is an exorbitant amount of money to charge for repair especially since these phones were issued to people living at poverty level (Obama Phone).
Now called "Trump Phone" because they are so unstable and high maihtenance.

Check your charge cord most often to cord has weak spots and you still have connection just not full so moving the cord makes complete conection and charge will start again or become stronger

Mine just stopped charging on me and since then never charged again I've tried multiple chargers and still nothing idk if it's the charger port since it seems loos or if it's also the battery since I've had it for 7 years.

A women found your phone and she !&^&^ farted on your phone on purpose because she wants you to get another phone, like anything else but not Android…. maybe they want you to get an iPhone so they can really cram it up your ass and say I told you so……. iPhones are better……maybe,…. sometimes……pending on the quality of any device,….on the market to beat the best you have to shop for the worse case scenario first and that isn't normal standards, so,…because the Zmax pro2 was kicking ass for so long woman got mad. Get iPhone.

Brooke R it may have loose contacts in the back where it connects. At this point I would consider changing the port.

The charge cable may be the problem as well. Have you tried a different charge cable?

I have the same problem with my phone and I have tried multiple charging cords but it doesn't make any difference I have to constantly move my phone just a smidge to keep it charging....

I seen smoke come out of mine when I try plugging it in wrong, the port on the phone might be fried I'm going see if it the cord

I have changed mine 3x already.... And Im paying $25 plus tax at MetroPCS!!! I believe this phone should have a recall!!!!
