the glass you ordered from the internet may not as strong as the original
one from Apple.
Lots of people change the black one to white one, but it is strongly recommend that you should notice the strength of the panel.
Any way of separating LCD and front glass?

seperate the digitiser from the lcd? it's possible cos in china they sell genuine lcd with copied digitiser, a friend told me they made special tools/machinery to seperate the 2 pieces. I've tried many ways to seperate it, no possible way without damaging the lcd, I was thinking maybe super hot steam, but then it would damage the LCD in the end :(

Can you not order just the glass? I see other vendors selling only the glass. The only thing that cracked on my iPhone is the glass. The display and digitizer still works properly.

Nathan Keirn, sure you can purchase just the glass, but it is a royal PITA to even attempt to separate the display. Do a search on ifixit and you will notice that almost everybody recommends to replace it as a complete unit.

i replaced the front glass and lcd screen. When I turned the phone back on...the screen is completely white. No picture is popping on? What is the problem?
