LCD Bad connections? Or static electricity?

Hi,

I am quite new in the repair buisiness. I have ordered a few screens now but the last ones are doing something weird?

I can plug them in, i cleaned the connectors with alcohol. But strangly sometimes they work perfectly and sometimes they look broken?

The lcd is on but black/blue or i get stripes (vertical and horizontal, colored) and sometimes they just work.

I don't get it..

And with one if a twist it a little the screen goes form perfectly working to strage stripes?

Can you give me some advise?

I think it sort of infects other screens and devices? Could it be static electricity?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

it could be you are not getting a good connection when you put the new screen(s) on. if you twist it, you are putting torque on the flex connectors and they may come loose causing the problems. Make sure each of the connectors is firmly in place. don't assume it's a bad part because it won't work on a particular phone. sometimes the phone connectors are the issue and the screen will work on another phone with no issues.

the block lines/squares are because you haven't seated the flex cable properly.

click it into place and you will see the lines go from the screen

screen sellers say this is "static" in the connection
