connects to wifi but no internet/ will not let me restore
Tried reseting network and restoring in iTunes but will not allow me to do so
Is this a good question?

Can you check the date in settings?
I had the same problem before on phones and iPads, after disconnecting the battery, all of them jumped back to the default date (1970, XX, XX). After setting the date properly, i was able to use all the web stuffs.

does it do that with all networks? have you tried a restore? (power off device, hold home button and plug into computer at the same time till iTunes logo appears on ipad
