2005 pontiac grand am gt w/monsoon sound system car stereo cd player

My CD player in my grand an gt that has a monsoon sound system the CD player is not letting the cds go in and if they do it won't eject them all the way I had to get one out with a precision screwdwiver and two way tape I tried to insert another disc and it won't go in at all can you help me thank you

the gear that allows the disc to be taken in and ejected is broke we have repaired a few cd players like that
