2010 ford escape Air bag light stays on all the time

Have a 2010 ford escape, the air bag lights stays on all the time.

Never been in a crash or fender bender, I have checked the fuse and under the seat driver and passenger sides for the clips and clean them. When starting the car the air bag light don't flash just stays on. Any idea thanks for help
