My display is not working after battery replacement

Hi there,

I bought a new battery for my iPhone 5 from ifixit.com and replaced it successfully.

After the replacement my phone will not come on. It seems the phone might be working since if someone called it rings and everything but there is nothing on the display.

I checked the connector wires and everything looks fine.

Can someone please let me know if there is something I missed or it seems like I have broken the display.

Thanks in advance.

It's possible that you accidentally knocked off a component from the motherboard. Take a look at the board under a microscope and see if there are any missing or floating components.

Reset, hold both home and power buttons until the iPhone begins to start, keep holding both buttons for at least 15 seconds, unless it starts.

@cellularrepair : I dont think the motherboard is damaged in anyway, but I will check again. Any other possible causes?

@Brad: I have tried the approach you mention but no luck.
