Wash cycles not completing

Hello,

Recently my washer stopped completing wash cycles. No matter wich one I choose and it seems to be right when it is about to start the first major spin. I have done cycles with very small loads to see if that was the issue but it is the same. The machine stops and the timer display is blinking 0:11

I have done a wash cycle with no clothes in it and it Also will not complete the cycle. I have also unplugged machine for 24hrs hoping for a reset.

All of the wash cycles stop when it gets to "spin" on the display.

Also when i just use the "drain/spin" cycle with no clothes in washer, it will drain and spin properly completing the 11min cycle.

There are no error codes.

Chosen Solution

If it won't spin:

Cause 1

Lid Switch Assembly

The lid switch assembly prevents the washer from spinning when the lid is open. If the lid switch assembly fails, the washer will not spin. To determine if the lid switch assembly is defective, use a multimeter to test the lid switch for continuity. If the lid switch does not have continuity, replace it.

Cause 2

Motor Coupling

The motor coupling connects the motor to the washer transmission. If the washer is overloaded, the motor coupling will fail in order to protect both the motor and transmission. The motor coupling can also fail due to normal wear. Inspect the motor coupling to determine if it is broken. If the motor coupling is broken, replace it.

Cause 3

Drive Belt

Inspect the drive belt to determine if it is broken or if it is loose on the pulleys. If the drive belt is broken or loose, replace it.

Hello, thank you. I have just noticed that all of the waah cycles, even with no clothes in them will stop when display shows it is in the "spin" status.

But with no clothes in washer, if use the "drain/spin" it will complete the 11min cycle, draining and spinning properly.
