MacBook Pro got wet

Macbook pro 13" i think a 2010 model was on the table and next to it a glass of water. Glass fell on its side right next to the Mac's side i think where the power cable gets hooked on and now it doesn't start at all.

Do you think is the power supply inside the machine that went or do i need to replace the whole motherboard?

Thanks,

Yiorgos.

You need to open the macbook. Clean the water with isopropyl alcohol >95% and then dry it properly. What do you mean it doesn't start? Is the magsafe light on?

Hi, no the magsafe light doesn't come on. It has been some time since it got wet and it's now dry inside. Is it worth trying the isopropyl now?

Yes, don't try to power up the macbook. Open it up. Remove and search for any signs of corrosion. Clean it and then try to boot the system.

Hi, i have opened it and there are no signs of corrosion except on the inside of the lid in the area where the battery is when closed. I have taken the battery out and tried to boot up but still nothing.
