allenapra, most microwaves have two door switches, but since you did not tell us your model I can only guess. If it does have two switches, it is very unlikely that those are the issue. In that case it sounds like problem with the control board. If it only has one door switch it is possible that it has failed. Microwave ovens are not easy DIY projects so if you have not worked on one before, now is not the time to "get fried".
