iPhone 5s turned off won't come back on

I had a water damaged iPhone 5s, I cleaned it and replaced the battery. It was working fine, no problems. Every thing tested and working (camera, microphone, speaker, home button etc etc)

When I went to put a new battery in and put it on charge it just turned off and I can't get it to come back on.

Does anybody know what might of happened to it?

I've tried another battery and it doesn't work, all the batteries I have work perfect because I have repairs on other phones so I'm able to test

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

Does it connect to the computer?

Also, have you tried kicking phone out of DFU Mode?

yes it gets warm, normal temp i'd say.

you need to have the protective shields removed and clean the board of any corrosion it has. if it gets warm its a good sign

by

doesn't get warm actually, just gonna sell it for parts.it did this before and i reconnected the battery a day later and it worked but now that's not working. really gutted, ah well. thanks anyway

okay it does get warm. would removing the EMI shields and cleaning now make any difference?

by

It might. Worth a shot id say because if ur planning on selling it for parts what do you have to lose? If it gets warm means the ic is still active among other things. The corrosion si whats stopping it. Remove it before it does more damage and you might save the phone. Take care with removing the emi shields
