iPhone 5C no display after replacing battery.

Repairing a 5C today, the battery to be specific. Replaced it with good battery and whenever I was finished, but it back together, it turned on, but only the back light turned on.

Here's what I did in order.

Opened up the phone.

Propped the screen at the 90 degree limit.

Disconnected the battery

Disconnected the Proximity flex, then LCD flex, then Digitizer flex.

Removed the battery then the adhesive.

Installed new adhesive and then the new battery.

Reconnected the Digitizer, LCD, and Proximity. (Put the shield back on, of course)

Connected the battery. (and shield)

Closed the phone up and powered on.

I tried the following:

D/c the battery and reconnecting

D/c the screen assembly and reconnecting.

D/c the battery and screen assembly, leaving it sit then brushing all connectors.

Placing electrical tape on top of screen connectors in case of it causing a short or something. (That fixed a problem once, so I figured it might work)

Installed 2 other screens KNOWN to be working. Same result. Backlight only.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

Caution always use Plastic tweezers or prying tools.

Disconnect the battery

Don’t panic and double check the connection-if it sits perfectly or not.

After confirming that all are placed in perfect then arrange the battery.

DON’T use conducting element prying tools as they may short your board.
