Not booting and always in restore mode

Hello

I've got an iPhone 5 which doesn't boot anymore.

I think the problem is because of the use of fake cables, so the problem could be the U2 chip thats broken.

When I press the power button to turn it nothing happens, and when I connect it to itunes it always says that it's in restore mode.

I'm not sure if this is the U2 ic chip.

Are those the symptoms?

Thanks for the help

Yeah, kinda what Dre said. I know it says it's in recovery mode. Have you tried putting it into dfu, and then trying a restore?
