Charging port went back in. any help here?

The charging port of my tablet just went inside the case while i was trying to plug it to the charging cable and when i try to charge it the other time, it wouldn't. i guess the problem maybe in the loose contact between the solder joints that hold the charging port and the motherboard itself....!! I've seen some videos of ifixit on how to replace a battery and all but my issues are with the charging port and if you could help me out with that, it'd be great...!!!!Appreciate it in advance..!
