replaced motherboard, safe mode reinstall wont read fat32

i got the same hdd from the old motherboard, is it possible that the hdd is bad from the old motherboard goin bad? i know it formats itself to match with the motherboard but it is takin too long, i got the full download file and did the exact what it showed in the instructions. all it is sayin is please wait

be stuck on please wait for a few hours and still nothin. i seen on youtube that it picks up after a few seconds.

it is the motherboard that i also bought from ifixit, like the other person did when i was goin through these questions
