Why will the iPhone not turn on?

I have a phone that was dropped the other day, and upon being dropped, the digitizer came off of the phone itself. The next day, the phone wouldn't turn on at all. I have since put a new screen on it, and have left it on a charger for two hours, but can't seem to be able to get it on. When I plugged it into my computer, nothing happened.
