Only get a line across the screen.

I dropped my camera & now when I turn it on, I just get a line across the screen. The screen & lens are ok. I took it to a camera shop & they told me I might as well buy a new one. I love this camera. I've only had it 5 years. Is there any hope?

It is a Sony Cyber-shot exmor R 5x optical zoom optical steady shot DSC-WS9. Around the lens, it says, Carl Zeiss, Vario-Tessar, 2,6-6,3/4,5-22,5. Probably more info than you wanted.

It is a Sony Cyber-shot exmor R 5x optical zoom optical steady shot DSC-WS9. Around the lens, it says, Carl Zeiss, Vario-Tessar, 2,6-6,3/4,5-22,5. Probably more info than you wanted.

Please tell me what model this Sony Camera is, and what kind of lens it has.
