Mac mini Late 2012 w 1866MHz DDR3L

Hello!

My question is so simple: if i upgrade my 2x2GB DDR3 modules to a 2x8GB DDR3L 1866MHz memory kit for my Mac mini Late 2012, will it works perfectly, or it will run at 1600MHz?

Due to other limiting factors your machine will not utilize the faster speed RAM. It may not run at all with faster RAM. I'd stick with the 1600 MHz PC3-12800 DDR3 SO-DIMMs.

Unfortunately, the Mac Mini Late 2012 has a limitation to 1600MHz, which in my opinion is more than enough for most day-to-day needs. You can even save a few bucks by purchasing 1600MHz RAM instead of 1866MHz RAM.
