Can I replace this?
I'm out of warranty and the flexible cable has gotten chewed on by a cat. How can I fix it? Can I fix it?
Is this a good question?

You can fix it, the left ear pad will pop of will a little pressure from a pry tool places between the vinyl and the green plastic on the ear cup. From there there are 4 small philips screws to remove the speaker. From there you can either use a 4 conductor 3.5mm patch cord and remove one end to replace the cord. Or install a 4 conductor 3.5mm jack and use a replaceable patch cord so if the cord gets damaged again you can just replace the cord without working on the headset again. I'm doing the latter sometime today making mine more future proof. Either way just ensure you use the CTIA standard when wiring the cable or jack in.

Unfortunately, it's not possible to replace just the cable. However, if the wires are all still intact, you can simply cover the chewed plastic with electrical tape.
