Tested logic board by removing memory, tested good.

I took the Mac to Apple genius bar. They did the hold the start button 10 second to start the start light to flashing, which it did. When they tried to restart it would not chime or start. The fan did start but nothing else happened. Genius told me it had too many internal parts that could have failed and suggested I buy a new machine.

I removed memory chips and tried to restart. Start light did a rapid flashing which indicates the logic board is still good.

Has anybody had this problem and have you some suggestions for me.
