Water damage, but still works

I got a question so I got a iphone 6 that's water damaged but still works but has problems, like the baterry is bad and the phone glitches, like when I press the power button it takes a screen shot instead of locking the phone.

So my question is if I switch my mother board to a different iphone 6 that's maybe i cloud locked or bad esn, will the phone work differently from when it was in the water damaged phone, or will it still have the same problems???

The best way is to get it to a fix store to handle this cauz the water is still inside your phone!

Options

Hard to say. There are few guarantees, when mixing water with electronics. It does kind like if you were to replace a few things, your phone could be back on track. I would try replacing the battery, and the power button, before swapping to a different device. However that could possibly be easier for you

Correct me if im wrong, So ur saying that If I change some parts like the baterry and power button it might start working good, but on there hand swapping motherboards to a different phone is a better solution to fix the problem?

I'm not saying swapping your motherboard is a better solution. What I am saying, is that the power button cable is a decent amount of work. Could be a bit too much. So instead of just buying the parts, that are problematic. You could possibly buy a phone, with a bad logic board, for cheap. And it could be less work for you. But not necessarily cheaper

Eli mnenko, if you switch your logicboard with one that is iCloud locked or has a bad ESN, than your phone will be either iCloud locked or will have a bad ESN:-) Your logic board is pretty much the phone. You can only use those boards to harvest spare parts. Best to do would be to try to fix your phone. start by removing all the EMI shields and checking the connectors and components for corrosion damage etc.

I get what u ment, but I wasn't thinking on using the i cloud locked or bad esn logic boards, I was going to use my logic board from my water damaged phone and put it in the phone that had the i cloud lock or bad esn and see it if still have the pronlems.

The damage you describe is most likely on your board. You'll have to clean it properly and re-evaluate after you do so.
