What is the difference between the Rev A and Rev B model?

I just bought a 2014 thunderbolt display (for parts), and i see that the SKU is different from what i usually see from the listings on eBay. I wanted to know what exactly is the difference between the older and newer display parts wise and design wise.

Answer this question I have this problem too

I believe "Revision B" just simply included a MagSafe-to-MagSafe2 adaptor. This revision came out back in 2012 when Apple released the first Retina MacBook Pro, which had the MagSafe2 port.

MagSafe port? On a Thunderbolt Display?

by

What? The Thunderbolt Display had a MagSafe connector coming out of it. Revision B included the MS-to-MS2 adaptor so people who bought the new rMBP at the time could plug it into the monitor.
