Why isn't the fan oscillating?

I've had this fan for over a year without any problems. I tried using i today and the fan is no longer turning as it normally does. It still blows air but doesn't move back and forth. Help!

If the fan isn't oscillating, check that both the remote and front panel are functional to eliminate the chance that the button is simply broken. If this does not help, remove the back casing from the fan. Then, locate any debris or objects that might have gotten into the fan and blocked the oscillation motor. If the fan is still not oscillating, replace the oscillation motor assembly using this guide.

Hi Clara,

It's going to be really hard for us to figure out how to help you with just your description. Can you post a picture of the broken part and where it goes in your fan?
