LG 42LS560S Reboot repeatedly

Hallo,

My LG Television, now more than two year old, went sundenly in a non stop reboot mode. The television goes ON and shows the LG Logo and than turn Off again.

I highly appreciate any tipps or sugessting related to this problem.

Here you can find service manual.

Troubleshoot should start from power supply

Start from basic level,

Visual inspection

  • Check 120uF 450V (primary)capacitor Swollen ? if yes replace it
  • Check secondary caps 100ouF 35V caps swollen ? if yes replace them

Check the output voltages mentioned on the circuit board

Check the optocoupler resistance : primary around 8Mohms secondary 2-3Kohms : if any deviation replace it

let us know if above steps not works to fix your TV then we can check the TV motherboard

make sure capacitors are discharged before touch them. high voltage still can be loaded on primary capacitor. be careful friend!
