Options

Connecting new bluetooth apple trackpad disables my left single click

Why when I connect bluetooth trackpad my touchpad left click is disabled? I tried PRAM and SMC reset and it does not work. I have to disable bluetooth to get my left click back on the touchpad on the macbook.

I would check the trackpad settings both the external bluetooth and the laptop's I suspect the click side might be setup differently between the two. As the external trackpad came out later there could be some interplay issues.

when i connect to the bt trackpad it takes over my settings in preferences so there is no differing it from the mbp touchpad.
