Laptop won't connect to 5ghz Wifi

I have a duel band router with the 2.4ghz and a 5ghz, I can connect to the 5ghz on my Phone but it wont show up on my laptop. I am running windows 10, my WLAN card is a Intel(R) Wireless-N 7260. On the Intel website it says it can connect to 5ghz so i updated the Drivers for it and restarted and it still doesn't come up under the list of connections. any ideas?

The Dual-Band version of the Intel(R) Wireless-N 7260 supports both 2.4 and 5 Ghz bandwidth types, but the regular Intel(R) Wireless-N 7260 does not.
