My trackpad reacts so erratic and frosted

Hi!

I have a macbook pro 15'' 2,53 Ghz mid 2009.

Before 2 moths ago my cursor of trackpad acting so erratic and frosted.Moving crazy, opens finder, minimize widows and sometimes acting deadly slow. This happens for about 15 minutes and after a shut down, everything was fine.

2 days ago the problem appears again.

Same issues, more annoying, uncontrolable and keeps on until now.

A lot of people says many things to fix this in internet but I'll tell you what I have done until now without a reasn.

- I use the original adapter for Macbook

- I remove the battery and try to use Macbook only with the adapter but nothing happens.(By the way my battery's icon on mac says Service Battery I don't know if this related with the problem)

- And finally I put up and inside (I have remove the battery) the trackpad rice for humidity.I'll let you now in a few hours if this recipe works with a Happy End.

So..

Should I have to buy a new with mounting screws?

Should I have to buy a new without mounting screws

Should I have to buy a new without mounting screws and without Cable

None of them?

Is it systems problem to avoid for buying anything?

Also.

I can find a used trackpad-unibody from a 2008 13 or 15 macbook pro.

How should I know if it is compatibly with my Macbook pro?

It will be great for me to solve my problem only with a replacement and not buying anything otherwise it's ok.

So..

That's all.Big story I know for that and Im sorry.

Any help will be good for me.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

Open it up and check to see if the battery is swollen and pressing on the bottom of the trackpad.

Hello mayer and thanks for the answer.

As I say in the begging, I have try to use my macbook by removing battery away and use only the power adapter but unfortunately nothing happens.

So you can say that I have try what you suggest.

The next thing I would try is running a virus checker. Also try starting up in Safe Mode by holding down the Shift key and let us know if the problem persists. We need to know if this is a hardware or software problem.

Nothing happens in safe mode.Problem keep on to exist.

I also try to reset nvram but nothing.

By the way rice didn't help me.

I am having a similar problem on a 2012. I'm trying to install a EFI Trackpad version 1.2 & 1.3. update but must take the system back to Mavericks. You might try searching for a Trackpad EFI update for your machine.
