My sony ericsson x10 it is not charging even when I plugged in the main. Battery is new, it won't switch on.
I have tried to charge the phone whithout a battery but it doesn't even show a sign of charging. I tried to charge the phone with the battery and still the same results nothing happens.
It doesn't switch on and the power button is clear no dust or anything.
What else can I try?

Japhta Mokwena, it definitely won't charge without the battery:-). The best to do is to try a new charger and a new cable just to rule those out. If those are okay, you do want to replace your battery next. If that is unsuccessful, check the charging port and battery connectors to make sure none of the pins is corroded or broken etc. Check the port on the logic board to make sure that you have power going to your board. You may need to replace the port, but it is soldered to the board. Soldering will be necessary. If that does not resolve the issue, it is possible that you have some logic board damage around the power management IC

Thanks for the advise, the issue might be with the port in the logic board. Connection pins checked 100% battery checked 100% charging cables checked 100%
