Front camera not working correctly after install of iPhone 6 Display

I purchased the iPhone 6 Display Assembly with Front Camera / Fix Kit /

Black. I installed the whole screen assembly perfectly. For some reason my front facing camera that came with the kit starts to work fine for about 5 seconds then it freezes and will not take a picture or go on until i shut the phone down and power it up again. Like i mentioned before, I'm certain that all my connections are tight but it does seem to work in the beginning but freezes. doesn't sound like a connection but I may be wrong. I think it's something else . any feedback on this ???

Thank you. Yes I do have the old camera. I could swap it out. I do remember the old front cam did work. Thank you very much that probably is the problem. I most likely will have to send it back.

It sound's that the camera could be a defective one, do you still have the old camera to swap out and test with that one to see if you are getting the same problem?
