Battery Connector ripped off allong with all Soldering pads.

I have an Iphone 4S with completely Ripped OFF Battery connector along with three soldering pads. The thin brown layer on the board at the soldering pads is sticking out. Please look into the images . One image is highlighting the brown layer of board sticking out. Help me fix it. Also let me know good point soldering guns suitable for the phones. Thank you.

Also, you will have to be pretty good at soldering before even trying to attempt to solder anything on those boards :-)

@oldturkey03 Hey, Thank you for your suggestion. I've added the images. In the second image, you'll see a soldering pad sticking out from the board Do you think It would be Okay? I don't know the respective points of the soldering pads aligned to the next 6 little pairs of nodes. I have soldering experience in regular PCBs. But am learning the micro soldering. So I make this work, I'll be good at micro soldering too!!

Ha--thanks! He actually sent me a message, and I suggested he post here for some guidance. This board is missing two pads, so it will require a microjumper to connect the pins to the next component in line to get this to work. Definitely not the place to start DIY soldering. Shiv, if you want to send it in for mail-in, then I'd be happy to fix it. It sounds like you want to go DIY, which is fantastic---but you'd really want to start with some basic battery connectors that don't have missing pads before tackling this one.

@jessabethany I've prior soldering experience on PCBs, but not micro soldering which actually, I started practicing. It would be great to know the respective pins for all those soldering pads. And Thank you very much for taking time for giving suggestions and to comment in this post.

Ok--I think you are doing the right thing by posting here publicly so others can learn as well.

In your case, you'll need to solder the new connector to the two existing out pads--that will be straightforward, but those pads will take a lot of heat to flow.

For the middle two pins, look closely at your board. You can see the two tiny traces that lead from the missing pads down to a set of four components below the connector. You will need to build microjumpers to re-establish these torn lines. Ideally, your new lines will connect to the pins on the bottom of the connector and run under the connector as in the original. However, you could take an "overland route" which may be easier and use an incredibly thin gauge wire to attach from the pins around the connector to attach to the bottom resistors. Study the components down there closely, you can "read the board" to figure out which side the original line attached to. Do not short across the two of these components that are capacitors or you will short your new lines to ground. The phone will not function very long if you do not repair these two battery data lines.

HI @jessabethany, I have a quick question, if you take the "overland" route do you have to cover the wire somehow so as to insulate it from contacting something else and shorting?

Shiv, use the diagram on the attached image to run jumper from the connector to the components. Just make sure you practice a lot before attempting this repair.
