Why new digitizer doesn't work?

Hi ,

I had changed touch screen two times , the first time touch screen worked perfectly for 3 days and then stop working ,the second time (with an another new digitizer )the touch screen seems to be dead , I can't believe it !

What should I do ?

You need to look at the FPC connectors (connectors that the digitizer plugs into) on the logic board and see if they got damaged at all.

How should they be damaged? I always remove the digitizer's flat disconnecting corretly the black plastic clip...

Since they are plastic they can easily become damaged. If you have a microscope check them out under it and see if any of the plastic is broken or if any of the 'legs" of the plug have become unsoldered from the logic board. It could also be a screen quality issue, have you tried a 3rd screen just to make sure its not a part issue

I have been working on an extremely damaged Ipad and the digitizer was one of the replacements. I got everything working but the touchscreen. I must have plugged this in 3 or 4 times and still no response. Then I pushed in firmly and felt the connector seat all the way and haven't had an issue since. They fit very snug and have to be seated really well. I hope this helps.
