iPhone 5c showing "no Service"

Hello,

My Iphone 5c does not connect to the provider. It is searching and saying „No Signal“. Some facts:

1. Wifi is working fine

2. GPS is working fine

3. IOS is 9.0.2. Update was succesful

4. Provider update was successful

5. IMEI is fine

6. Date/ Time is fine

7. My provider is detected, but on selection still no service

8. The sim works in another IPhone

What I did so far:

1. Reboot

2. Restore from IPhone

3. IOS Update from 8.4.1

Could it be:

1. A loose antenna?

2. A defect chip (which one?)

3. The Sim connection to the Iphone?

Any Ideas? Anything you can exclude?

Update (10/08/2015)

Also some more tests:

The hidden App "Field Test" Just shows connecting. With my other working IPhone 5c I get into the menue.

With my second Iphone I got inside 3 points and outside 5 points signal strenght, also it shows inside 4 carriers. The broken one of course no signal, but shows inside only one carrier and outside 2 and sometimes 4. But again without connection.

So for me it could be the antenna, correct?

Update (10/10/2015)

I guess it is brocken now.

I put out the connector next to the battery first. Now:

No Charging,

No Home Button

No Itunes connection.

Any Idea?

Hello Jamie

that's what I did as well. Did not work. I guess it is more hardware related

Forgot to say that my signal strenght on the working IPhone is -80db outside.

Who is interested in the Field Test App:

Dial *3001#12345#* and hit the tab Button.

Hold down the Sleep/Turn Off button until the Slide to power off screen comes up. Now, instead of turning the phone off, release the Sleep/Turn Off button and hold the Home button for a couple of seconds until it will return you to the Home Screen.

You can tap on Signal to switch between the numeric and dots display.

I hope you didn't use metal tools to remove the battery connector

This may or may not work, but go into Settings > General and scroll all the way down to reset. In the reset menu, choose reset Network settings. Let the phone do the repair, and reboot. Hopefully this works for you!!

The charging port handles all of the issues you just listed. Open the phone again, and disconnect asks reconnect the port assembly connector beside the battery connector. If they doesn't fix the latest issues, order a new port assembly off of eBay. Who is the original carrier for the device, and on which network are you attempting to use it?
