The problem needs to be isolated to either the mouse of the blue tooth card. Try another blue tooth device and see how it works then you will know where to look for the issue.

hi mayer,

thank you for your reply ...

I have also a extern bluetooth adapter and when i plug-in on one of the usb connection on the backside from my iMac the magic mouse works fine, only when the iMac get out from the sleep-mode the magic mouse don't work anymore, or i have to unplug the extern bluetooth adapter again and plug-in again the mouse work again and this is always repeat itself when the iMac go's in sleep-mode ....

So my opinion is that the mouse is not the problem but the problem is the bluetooth antenna inside the iMac?

Go under the Apple to about this Mac > more info > and look at the internal bluetooth and see if it sees it. Good work on narrowing it down. Has it ever been worked on or opened up?

i check the bluetooth internal and i see this : bluetooth status=turned on/bluetooth connected=yes/detectable= turned off

i don't know if it worked before because i bought this iMac second hand .....
